With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Wayne Loyd (Pittsfield, Illinois), who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Loyd and Helen Killebrew Loyd. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dawkins; his children, Heidi Doyle (Billy) of Pleasant Hill, IL, Tim Loyd (Rhonda) of Sherman, IL and Erin Lowry (Frank) of Chatham, IL; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Mady, Matthew, Zak, Ross and Patrick; his siblings, Harold Loyd of Pittsfield, Barbara Dunham (Larry) of Griggsville, IL, Evelyn Dehart (Rodney) of Griggsville, IL and Dianna Foster (Donnie) of Pittsfield, IL; and his sister-in-law Brenda'Sue' Ruckman (Laverne) of Flora, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Pike County All-Wars Museum.
