He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Baughman and Dorothy Lewis Baughman; his sons, Douglas C. Baughman and Randy Baughman; his great grandchildren, Piper and Gatlin Priest; his son-in-law Edward D. Hoaglin; his sister Joann Fisher; and his siblings-in-law, Charles, Helen Cooley, Junior Cooley and Betty Jean Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Baughman; his children, Carrie Priest (Phil) of Pittsfield, IL, Kathi Gore (Mal) of Elko, GA, Brent Baughman of St. Claire, MO, Gary Baughman of St. Louis, MO, Keven Baughman of Pittsfield, IL and Angie Volk (Kenny) of Mt. Sterling, IL; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Baughman; his grandchildren, Dylan Baughman, Danielle Howland (Kshe), Melisha Hoover, Jeremy Priest (Haylee), Jessica Schuwerk, Rachel Streat (Brandon), Douglas Hoaglin (Sarah), Emily Baughman, Nathan Baughman, Jessie Baughman, Shawn Volk (Alicia), Mikki Volk, Brad Volk, Christopher Volk (Larissa) and Kimberly Kestner (Austin); his brothers, Wayne Baughman of Pittsfield, IL and Wendell Baughman of El Centra, CA; and his sister-in-law Anna Mae Cooley. He is also survived by forty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
