He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Hyde, Jr. and Agatha Fowler Hyde; his stepfather George Gerard; his daughter Wendy Burrows; his brother Eddie Hyde; and his son-in-law Kevin Easton.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn K. Bauer; his children, Lori A. Easton of Springfield, IL, Susan K. VanStrien (Steve) of Pittsfield, IL, Melissa J. Hyde of Blanchard, OK, Karen A. Hooper (Bill) of Pearl, IL and W. Clark Moyers of Pleasant Hill, IL; his siblings-in-law, Donna Berry (Al) and Bryan Bauer (Lisa); and his uncle Paul Collins. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
