Betty J. Pressey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Pressey of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lawson and Juanita Teaney Lawson; her husband Clarence 'Dink Pressey; her daughters, Nancy Pressey and Judy Pressey Daniel; her grandsons, Rick Barnett and Jody Smith; her great grandchild Tristan Smith; her sister Helen Wade; and her close friend Earl 'Bird Vinyard.

She is survived by: her children, Clarence 'Dink Pressey, David Pressey (Janeen) of Pittsfield, IL, Peggy Ferry (Ed) of Pittsfield, IL, Wendy Chaplin (Larry) of Pittsfield, IL, Lisa Heavner (Jayson) of Pittsfield, IL and Larry Cox (Trish) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to be made to Blue River Cemetery or Pike County Animal Shelter.
