He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry O. Reel and Frances L. Ellis Reel; and his siblings, Velma Christison, Lois Miller and Harry Lee Reel.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, William 'Billy Rodney Reel, Robert 'Bob Clay Reel (Gena), Rebecca 'Becky Jean Thomas (Berlyn) and Rhonda Beth Miller (Russ); his grandchildren, Amber Reel Poor (Justin), Ashley Reel Goetze (Charlie), Lila Thomas Martin (Bryan), Lucy Thomas Gordon, Delaney Miller Martin (Joe), Reed Miller and Skyler Reel; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Landon, Lucas Poor, Renae, Raven Martin, Kaleb Gordon, Emersyn, Everly Goetze and Brinley Martin; his sister Leta Jean Daniels; and his brother-in-law Bill Christison. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Detroit United Methodist Church or Blue River Cemetery.
