It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Phillips of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Freeman and Mary P. Pennock Freeman; and her husband Bill Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Brian Phillips (Tara) of Griggsville, IL, Theresa Shelton of Griggsville, IL, Darla Conkling (Bill) of Pittsfield, IL and Leann McConnell (Kent) of Milton, IL; her grandchildren, Carmen Warren (Allen), Carrie Whittaker (Trent), Shana Lash (Mike), Jessica Miller (Andy), Katie Roig (Seth), Hillary McConnell, Brendan 'Buster' McConnell (Katie), Marissa Downey (Hayden Bradshaw), Christopher Downey and Caitlyn Murphree (Brandon); and her brothers, Larry Freeman (Deanna) and Lynn Freeman (Sharon). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Oakwood Cemetery.
