It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Louise Jenkins of Pittsburg, Illinois, born in Cambria, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Harvel and Edna Alice Harvel (Williams); her former husband Wendell Phillips; her husband Kenneth Jenkins; and her siblings, Dale Harvel, Joe Harvel, Bill Harvel, Bob Harvel, Les Harvel, Carl Harvel, Raymond Harvel, Waldine Rice, Jen Waldron and Bernita Cross.
She is survived by: her children, LaRonda Lambert (Ed) of Crab Orchard, Mike Phillips (Scarlett) of Marion, John Winstead (Chris) of Herrin, Terry Phillips (Angie) of Pittsburg, Melody Stricklin (John) of Dykersburg and Shane Phillips of Crab Orchard; her daughter-in-law Jamie Phillips of Crab Orchard; and her sister Sue Ranchino (Jerry) of Herrin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
