He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Glen and Beatrice Handkins (Shanks). He is survived by: his sister Velma Handkins of Pittsburg, IL; and his cousins, Audrey Biby, Charlotte Worthen, Cheri Worthen and Scott Worthen. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
