He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Hunter and Evelyn Hunter (Bates); his wife Arleen Tompkins; and his brother Gene Hunter. He is survived by: his children, William Tompkins (Sydney), Matt Tompkins (Shelly) and Lisa Beggs; his siblings, Shirley Ann Petersen and James Hunter; and his grandchildren, Kamryn Hunter, Wyatt Tompkins, Hudson Tompkins, Isabella Beggs and Jacob Beggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
