He was predeceased by: his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his daughters, Kathleen Jones (Robert), Mary Bilbrey (Steven) and Cynthia Roller; his grandchildren, Christopher Jones (Leticia), Steven Jones, Sarah Shelly (Charles), Brian Jones and Madeline Bilbrey; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Lincoln Jones.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude or Wounded Warrior Project.
