He is survived by: his children, Mary Doherty-Oreskovich (Jim), Anne Doherty (Rob Roy) and Jean Doherty; his grandchildren, Owen, Liam, Ian, Conor, Brendan and Trinity; and his siblings, William, Maeliosa and Teresa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
