Wanza L. Griffin May Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanza L. Griffin May (Pinckneyville, Illinois), who passed away on October 23, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Williams and Pearlie May Williams (Benson); her son Jerry Griffin; and her siblings, Fern Griffin, Julia Clark, Zola Westfall, Minnie Moore, Helen Chanley, Verna Williams, Ival Williams, Charley Williams, Bill Williams and Floyd Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley L. Lindner (Tyrone) of DuQuoin, IL; her grandchildren, Kevin Asbury (Christy), Aaron Asbury (Nicki) and Shawna Soares (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Whitney, Olivia, Kirstin, Tyler, Blake, Rylie Asbury, Madison Soares and Andrew Soares.
Memorial donations may be made to Galum Presbyterian Cemetery.
