It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Batson (Pinckneyville, Illinois), born in Morrill, Kansas, who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Cook and Louise Cook (Parcels); and her siblings, Norma Massey, Wanda Christopher, Glenda Allen, Colleen Rennison and Eugene "Gene" Cook.

She is survived by : her husband Bill Batson of Pinckneyville, IL; her children, Adrian Guerrero (Beth) of Massachusetts, Henry Guerrero of Pinckneyville, IL and Jada Batson of Pinckneyville, IL; her grandchildren, Laci Harper (Drew Vandiver), Anthony Guerrero and Adam Guerrero; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Olivia Vandiver, Dante Guerrero and Sequoia Guerrero. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
