He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hiller and Mary Evelyn Hiller Shriver (Sheley); his brothers, Ron and Don; his son Kevin Hiller; his daughter-in-law Jo Carol; his grandsons, Devin Hiller and Alek Shopinski; and his stepson-in-law Allen Czerniejewski.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Shawn of Du Quoin, Colleen Lacy (Olin) of Tamaroa, Maureen Noack (Milo) of Greenleaf, WI, Bridget McDaniel (Neal) of Du Quoin and Darren of Du Quoin; his stepchildren, Stephanie Dent (Rick) of Bonnie, Natalie Lynch (Ron) of Du Bois and Martin Skorch (Randie) of Scheller; his grandchildren, Lauren Prochaska (James), Ryan Hiller (Shelby), Taylor Hiller, Brittany Lacy, Jacob Lacy (Lindsay), Halle Matecki and Emma Shopinski; his stepgrandchildren, Megan Czerniejewski (Josh), Logan Czerniejewski, Daniel Dent, Miranda, Martina, Michaela Skorch, Hunter Noack, Phillip Noack (McKenzie) and Katelyn Noack (Luke); his great grandchildren, Lane, Riley Prochaska, Jayden and Peyton Hiller; his brother Steven Hiller; and his sister-in-law Lynn of Highland Park, IL..
