Rosalia A. Sroka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalia A. Sroka of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosalia A. Sroka to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Heisner and Catherine Heisner (Bathon); her husband Andrew James Sroka; her son James "Jim" Sroka; and her siblings, Sylvester Heisner, Raymond Heisner, Floyd Heisner, Clarence Heisner, James Heisner, Marcella Heisner and Dorothy Barnowski.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara Pabst (Fred) of Pinckneyville, IL, Linda Stern (Lloyd) of Chester, IL, Stephen Sroka (Kim) of Pinckneyville, IL and Marcella "Sally" Humphrey (Allen) of DuQuoin, IL; and her grandchildren, Troy Pabst (Beth Rogers), Cheri Queen (Mike), Cindy Happold (Jerry), Christy Asbury (Kevin), Nathan Stern (Julie), Eric Stern (Jessica), Amanda Fender (George), Andrew Sroka (Billie), Craig Sroka (Mary Degenhardt), Jill Sroka, Neil Humphrey (Angela) and Megan Hutchings (Bryant). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and one on the way; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J. B. Pritzker, Phase Four attendance and social distancing will be enforced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School, Pinckneyville, IL.
