He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Theodore and Clara Margaret Brand (Bathon). He is survived by: his wife Meschelle Brand of Pinckneyville, IL; his sister Diane Marie Brand of DuQuoin, IL; and his close friends, Judy Logsdon, Halene Overly, Ruth Furlow, Rosalie Kringer, Gabe, Jenna, David Herbst, Larry, Lisa Valier, Deon and Barb Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many brothers in law and sisters in law.
