It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph Joseph Hayes of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Ava, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hayes and Mary Hayes (Aubry); his wife Marcella Frieda Hemmer; and his siblings, Marge Bruns, Loraine Koss and Wayne Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Loiacono (Sam) of DuQuoin, IL and Carolyn Engel (Brian) of St. Louis, Missouri; his sister-in-law Patricia Wheatley of DuQuoin, IL; his grandchildren, Michelle Loiacono of DuQuoin, IL, Sam Loiacono (Ariele) of Murphysboro, IL, Mary Willhite (Pere) of Payson, UT and Julie Engel of St. Charles, MO; and his great grandchild Rook Loiacono. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter due in June; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School or the Masses.
