It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Lynn Smith-Hester of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Jeannette Claire Smith Jr. (Zewe); her children, Logan Everett Hester of Pinckneyville, IL and Genevieve Alea Hester (Stacy Hackworth) of Pinckneyville, IL; her granddaughter Willow Hester of Pinckneyville, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Ava Jean Hackworth of Pinckneyville, IL and Gabriel Hackworth of Pinckneyville, IL; her close friends, Alesia Rowland-Mounce of Pinckneyville, IL and Lisa Dunnihoo of Pinckneyville, IL; her friend Cindy Evans of Herrin, IL; her former husband Douglas Hester of Baton Rouge, LA.; her grandparents, Genevieve (Walt) and John Emil Zewe of Waukegan, IL; her father Calvert Leroy Smith Jr. of Waukegan, IL; her brother Timothy J. Smith of Waukegan, IL; her parents-in-law, Dr. C. E. and Linda Cawvey of Pinckneyville, IL; and also Greg Epplin of Pinckneyville, IL. She was also cherished by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus attendance will be limited and social distancing will be observed. All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
