Mildred Ida Epplin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Ida Epplin of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brand and Edna Brand (Hubler); her husband Joseph Louis Epplin; her son Dr. Thomas "Tom" James Epplin; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Caroline Rinker; and her siblings, Herman Brand and Marie Stein.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Jerome Epplin (Renee) of Litchfield, IL, Dr. Eugene Epplin (Cindy) of Terre Haute, IN, Max Epplin (Patricia) of Pinckneyville, IL and Kenney Epplin of Pinckneyville, IL; and her daughter-in-law Florine Porter (Joe) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; and many wonderful great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Thomas J. Epplin Scholarship or to a charity of the donor's choice.
