With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Lindner (Pinckneyville, Illinois), born in Cutler, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George "Kenneth" and Marian Lindner (Deppe); his stepfather John Svanda; his siblings, Glen Lindner, Terry Lindner and Linda Hepp; and his great grandchild Brody Lane Woodside.

He is survived by : his wife Lina Rae Lindner of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Kent Lindner of Pinckneyville, IL, Blake Lindner of Havana, IL and Penny Corn (Dick) of Pinckneyville, IL; his sisters, Janet Miller of Pinckneyville, IL and Karen Peradotto (John) of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandchildren, Lane Woodside (Chelsey), Mason Woodside (Amy), Collin Woodside (Erin), Jacie Lindner, Sydnie Lindner and Hallie Lindner; and his great grandchildren, Rowyn, Beckham Lee, Jack, Grace, Brynn and Cecily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois.
