She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Bridenstine and Margaret E. Bridenstine (Maxton); her husband John William "Bill" Hammack; and her sisters, Margaret Carter, Francis Girdner, Marceil Reminger and Catherine Khory.

She is survived by: her children, John Lee Hammack (Mary) of Pinckneyville, IL and Chantelle Luthy (Joe) of Phoenix, AZ; her brother Jess Bridenstine of Daytona Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Cortney Paretzkin (Jonas) of Geneva, IL, Jaime Muer (Tyler) of Stroudsburg, PA, Patrick Luthy of Phoenix, AZ and Brandon Luthy (Rochelle) of Portland, OR; and her great grandchildren, Halle M. Paretzkin and Mack J. Muer. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Pinckneyville Community Hospital for the Acute Care Department.
