It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Bird of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Szczeblewski and Edna Szczeblewski (Cowley); and her brother Ronnie Szczeblewski. She is survived by : her son Kevin Bird; her grandchildren, Wyatt and Lilly; her daughter Kristina White (Robert); her grandson Bobby; her daughter Tanya Peters; her grandchildren, Brandon and Madison; and her siblings, Roger Szczeblewski of Tamaroa and Delores Waligorski (Larry) of Pinckneyville.
Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
