He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Silbe and Gladys W. Silbe (McClurken); his wife Wanda M. Hutchings; and his siblings, Billy Silbe and Dorothy Weatherford.

He is survived by : his children, Marla Silbe of Pinckneyville, IL and Terry Silbe (Geniese) of Pinckneyville, IL; his brother Jim Silbe (Elaine) of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandchildren, Brooke Lueker of Tamaroa, IL, Paige Leonard of Pittsburg, IL, Jessica Pyatt (Clint) of Pinckneyville, IL and Dirk Silbe (Jenny) of Pinckneyville, IL; his great grandchildren, Laine, Kassidy, Jase, Jett, Justice, Jesse, Jade, Shea, Miner, Zane and Jax; and his great great grandchild Alayna.

Memorial donations may be made to the Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504, Pinckneyville, IL.
