He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ernest and Clara Mae Ridgeway (Lively); his wife Doris Akers; his stepson Doug Daniels; his siblings, Mildred Eisenhauer, Barb Erdman, Wyatt Scruggs, Gene, George, Jack and Walter Ridgeway; and his son-in-law Terry Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Ridgeway (Brenda) of Pinckneyville, IL, Keith Ridgeway (Connie) of Scheller, Illinois, Phyllis Vyskocil (Todd Nass) of Big Lake, MN and Natalie Jones of Pinckneyville, IL; and his siblings, June Dunmeyer of DuQuoin, IL, Joan Barnett of DuQuoin, IL, Joann Spurlock of DuQuoin, IL and Chuck Ridgeway (Dottie) of DuQuoin, IL. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
