We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John L. Carlson (Pinckneyville, Illinois), born in Jamestown, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Carlson and Ethel Carlson (LeRoy); his sisters, Eleanor Corstange and Diane Holmes; and his stepbrother Jerry Ellis.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Carlson of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Richard Carlson (Christine) of Lake St, Jim Carlson (Cheryl) of DuQuoin, IL, Debbie Mulkins (Brad) of DuQuoin, IL and Diane Williams (Rick) of DuQuoin, IL; and his stepbrother Bob Ellis of Jamestown, NY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, IL.
