He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Howell and Ardis Jean Howell (Anderson); his grandson Dalton Howell; and his pet Shadow. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Howell of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Michael Howell (Ashlee) of Tamaroa, IL, Melissa Higgerson (Mike) of Pinckneyville, IL and Mark Howell (Katie) of Pinckneyville, IL; his brother Bill Howell of Benton, KY; his grandchildren, Kinlee Howell, Parker Higgerson, Jackson Higgerson, Kase Howell, Milo Howell and Zella Howell; and his pet Becky.
