She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Nowicki and Rose Nowicki (Lamczyk); her husband Fred Brown; her sister Vivian Hug; and her sister-in-law Janet Nowicki.
She is survived by: her spouse Ben Welsch; her daughters, Gail Vroman (Dave) of Washington, IL, Cindy Prylo (Dan) of Farmington, MI, Janis Welsch of Round Rock, TX and Amy Tavernaro (John) of Laveen, AZ; her stepdaughters, Tammy Spence (George) of Rockvale, TN and Tara Harris (Billy) of Rockvale, TN; her brothers, Marvin Nowicki (Zaida) of DuBois, IL and Gene Nowicki (Kay) of Cave-In; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Michael (Diane), Matthew, Katie, Ben, Emma, Isabell, Janie, Taryn (Cobi), Riki Lynne (Tyler), Tessa and Tye. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
