He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Ulysses and Kathryn "Inez" Hankla (Puckett); and his sister Pat Crow. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hankla of Pinckneyville, IL; and his children, Debi Gresham (Jeff) of Dowell, IL, Tim Hankla (Carla) of Stonington, IL and Steve Hankla (Kathy) of Pinckneyville, IL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
