She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert M. Lafferty and Juanita Lafferty (Conner); her husband Joseph H. "Zeke" Secrease; her daughter Carol Ann Secrease; and her grandchildren, Melanie Jo Herbert and Micah Bird.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Jo Herbert (Del) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Jane Ann Juenger (Randy) of Pinckneyville, IL, Joseph H. Secrease of Pinckneyville, IL and Karen Kay Gutzler (Jeff) of Okawville, IL; her grandchildren, Jeremy Herbert, Joshua Bird, Maranda Herbert Stachyra, Haley Stanton (Mark), Justin Secrease (Shanti), Kaitlyn Sledge and Skylar Braun; her great grandchildren, Baylor, Arlo Herbert, Althea Rose, Silas Stachyra, Gideon, Grady, Geno Sledge, Joseph Secrease, Mark, Ezekiel, Genevieve Stanton and Chyna Sikic; and her great great grandchild Jocelynn Graves. She is also survived by children, she helped raise her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
