She was predeceased by : her parents, Hiram Williams and Pearlie May Williams (Benson); her son Jerry Griffin; and her siblings, Fern Griffin, Julia Clark, Zola Westfall, Minnie Moore, Helen Chanley, Verna Williams, Ival Williams, Charley Williams, Bill Williams and Floyd Williams.

She is survived by : her daughter Shirley L. Lindner (Tyrone) of DuQuoin, IL; her grandchildren, Kevin Asbury (Christy), Aaron Asbury (Nicki) and Shawna Soares (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Whitney, Olivia, Kirstin, Tyler, Blake, Rylie Asbury, Madison Soares and Andrew Soares.
