He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flure and Rose Flure (Magerkurth); and his siblings, John Flure, Charles Flure, Floyd Stern, Dorothy Flure and Ella Kellerman.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Flure of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Mike Flure (Carla) of Pinckneyville, IL, Cindy Hanson (Bob) of Swansea, IL and Angela Griffin (Mike) of Pinckneyville, IL; his sister Catherine Smith of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandchildren, Gavin Flure (Leia), Dustin Crews (Christina Bruns), Gayla Flure and Breanna Burris; and his great grandchildren, Stella Crews, Braxton Burris, Clayton Crews, Holland Burris, Cammie Flure and Ivy Flure. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
