It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elinor Gielow (Pinckneyville, Illinois), who passed away on October 2, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elinor Gielow to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Craig and Edna Clementine Stanton (Glenn); her husband Eugene Gielow; her brothers, Jimmy Duane Stanton and Bobbie Glenn Stanton; and her grandson Ryan Eugene Erwin.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jeannie Gladson (Jimmy Bill) of Pinckneyville, IL, Elaine Hoague (Scott) of Herrin, IL and Lori Sample (Tom) of Cape Girardeau, MO; her sister Virginia Cunningham of Tilden, IL; her grandsons, Fletcher Hoague of St. Louis, MO and Blake Sample of Cape Girardeau, MO; and her cousin Linda Brune of Nashville, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
