He was predeceased by: his father Larry Hardin; and his grandparents, Clyde Birkner, Robert Hardin and Margurite Hardin. He is survived by: his mother Clydine Hardin (Everett Moore) of Pinckneyville, IL; his siblings, Rhonda Shubert (Larry) of Pinckneyville, IL, Cynthia Heisner (Blaine) of Pinckneyville, IL and Kevin Hardin (Carrie) of Pinckneyville, IL; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Hardin (Alizabeth), Dylan Hardin (Erin), Isaac Hardin (Lauren), Blaine Shubert (Gracie) of DuQuoin, Carly Heisner and Eliza Heisner; his great-niece Mila Hardin of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandmother Belva Birkner of Pinckneyville, IL; and his stepsisters, Monica, Mary and Bethany of Steeleville, IL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighborhood cats.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul United Church of Christ (205 E Jackson St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
