She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry and Hilda Bessie Gaston, Sr. (Bernaix); her husband Roy Leo "Pete" Magerkurth; her sons, Mark and Charles W. "Chuck" Magerkurth; and her sister Glenda Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Magerkurth of Pinckneyville, IL and Dr. Amy Elaine Fisher of Litchfield, IL; her granddaughters, Holly Hall (Mike) and Sarah Fisher; her great grandchildren, Lily, Gannon, Garret and Griffin Hall; her cousin Kay Davis of Herrin, IL; and her sisters, Lorraine Denney, Lucille Bardle, Mary Hahn and Diana Gaston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
