With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E. Pick of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elvis, Dorothy Pick (Morgenstern), Herschel and Ernestine Jenkel (Schwartzkopf); his great-uncle James Pick; and his pets, Sidney, Roxy and Liberty.
He is survived by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" Pick and Marilyn Pick (Jenkel); his pets, Ellie and Jessie Rose; and his close friends, Patrick Lang, Kory Shute and Mike Settle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
The preferred form of memorials is donations to Perry County Humane Society, DuQuoin, IL, St. Francis Care Animal Rescue, Murphysboro, IL, or donor's local animal rescue. Donations will be accepted at or can be mailed to the funeral home.
