He is survived by: his wife Janet Ashby of Pinckneyville, IL; his son Dalton Ashby of Pinckneyville, IL; his stepson Dustin Smith (Shala) of Pinckneyville, IL; his brothers, Randy Ashby (Connie) of Percy, IL and Jack Ashby (Gail) of Perryville, MO; his friend Erv Ashbury of Steeleville, IL; and his pet Theo. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
