Cecil Eugene Schmidt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Eugene Schmidt of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on April 19, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jacob and Cecile Audrey Schmidt (Rhoads); and his siblings, Wilber Schmidt, John Schmidt, Rita Schmidt and Marjorie Fancher.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Schmidt of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Michael Schmidt of Ava, IL, Daren Schmidt (Lora) of DuQuoin, IL and Carla Schmidt (Stuart Lanter) of Freeburg, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Sims and James Downard; and his great grandchild Kale Downard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, social distancing will be enforced and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.
