It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Thomas of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandson Michael Hottes; her siblings, Wayne, David Jones and Lucy Redford; her brother-in-law Olin Redford; her niece Terri Redford-Powers; and her nephew-in-law Roger Poos.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Thomas (Toni) of DuQuoin, IL and Pam Hottes (Louis) of Sebring, FL; her grandchildren, Monica Knapp (Tim) of Zeigler, IL, Melinda Bowlin (Rick) of Elkville, IL and Chelsey Rae Jackson (Paul) of Carbondale, IL; her great grandchildren, Alex, Kelsey, Jameson Knapp, Wade, Jacob, Maycee Bowlin, Oak Jackson, Kacey and Sarrah Hottes; her sister Jenetta Holt (Kenneth) of Pinckneyville, IL; her nephew Steven Holt (Amanda); and her nieces, Rhonda Holt and Linda Poos.

Due to health concerns related to the covid-19 virus, social distancing will be enforced and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.
