It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alen Ross Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Robert and Goldie Esther Kuhnert (Magerkurth); his son Kraig Alen Kuhnert; and his brother Virgil Leslie Kuhnert. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, IL; his daughters, Kelli Lynn Chmielewski (Leon) of Las Vegas, NV and Krista Lee Strait (Jeffrey) of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, David Yackle (Cassy), Matthew Yackle (Christina), Kyle Strait (Cayley), Jenna Walters (Matthew), Kara Lane (Corey), Jessie Strait, Kayla Strait, Julie Strait and Kodi Kuhnert; and his siblings, Roger Kuhnert (Mary) of Pinckneyville, IL and Gloria Conroy of Pinckneyville, IL.. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
