Jean Chambers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Chambers of Pierson Station, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Weakly and Alma Gregory Weakly; and her husband Daniel D. Chambers. She is survived by: her children, Sue Volk (Lee) of Newton, Carol Myers (Glen) of Atwood, Dino Chambers of Bakersfield, CA and Don Chambers (Laura) of Urbana; and her siblings, Lloyd Weakly of Nebraska and Jennett Fair of Lovington. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorials contributions may be made to the Atwood First Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
