He is survived by: his mother Marian Krumrey Zierath; and his brothers, David Larabee-Zierath (Pamela) of West Liberty, Iowa, Mark Zierath (Theresa Misgen) of Grand Marais, Minnesota and Paul McCune-Zierath (Christine) of St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
