He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Claussen and Katie Mae Claussen (Lucas); his wife Beverly Jo; his sons, Marty Claussen, Bryon Claussen and Howie Claussen; and his brothers, Joe and Neil Claussen.
He is survived by: his children, David Claussen (Angela Kats) of Petersburg, Lisa (Mike Watson) of Kilbourne and Bret (Barbara Shoemaker) of Morganton; his daughter-in-law Karen Claussen; and his nieces and nephews, Pamela Stevens (Dennis), Ron, Colleen, Cliff and Tim. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakford United Methodist Church in Oakford, Illinois.
