She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry and Jesse Lee (Murray); her son-in-law Rick Scaggs; her son Sidney VanEtten; and her former husband Glen VanEtten.
She is survived by: her children, Dale VanEtten (Pat) of Petersburg, IL, Pam Armbrust (Brad) of Easton, IL and Heidi Scaggs of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Angie Scheina (Patrick), Lee Pruitt (Zach), Erin Parsley (Wade), Allison Scaggs (Rachel), Madison Scaggs, Mark VanEtten (Ashlee), Tara Mayhew (Troy) and Scott VanEtten; her great grandchildren, Kate Scheina, Claire, Dane Parsley, Stella, Sidney VanEtten, Chandler, Carter VanEtten, Elynn and Livia Pruitt; her daughter-in-law Chris VanEtten; and her husband Mason.
Memorials may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church or the Mason City Area Nursing Home Activity Fund.
