He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa McCandless (Joel Blair) of Lafayette, IN and Sarah Oglesby (CJ) of Springfield; his stepgrandson Jack Oglesby; and his brother Gary McCandless (Linda) of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
