She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Hinds and Doris K. Hinds (McLaughlin); and her sister Nellie Davis. She is survived by: her wife Trinket Eckler; her daughter Katie Calhoun (Bobby) of Petersburg; her stepchildren, Patience Eckler (Mike Montague) of East Dundee and Rachael Eckler-Klabunde of Grayslake, Illinois; her grandchildren, Lila, Leo, Lawless, Lenox Calhoun and Ellie Klabunde; and her siblings, Herschel Hinds, Ethel Bounds (Russel), Arnold Hinds, Nina Westerfeld (John) and Shelly Monroe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Petersburg Youth Wrestling Club or the Parkway Christian Church.
