He is survived by: his wife Paula Smith Myers; his children, Lea Ann Griffin (Kenneth) of Glen Ellyn, Kate Carney of Springfield, Jane Nelson (John) of Naperville, Larry Weidinger (Sharon) of Oconomowoc, WI, Donald Green, Jr. (Nancy) of Glenarm, Joel Weidinger (Lisa) of Urbana and Richard Green (Carol) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Shari Darrow, Megan Griffin, Katie Asher, Maggie Valentine, Tricia Badgley-Green, John Green, Brittany Scott, William Webb, Jeremy Bell, Adam Bell, Captain Rachel Lowth and Samuel Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Jordan Elizabeth Darrow, Edith, Jack, Beatrice, Frances Valentine, Mason, Badgley, Charlotte Badgley-Green, Honora, Hannah Green, Morgan, Maddyn and Merrin Bell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
