He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Lutchka and Helen Lutchka (James). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith; his children, Rene Lynn Horn (Albert) of Petersburg, Gregory James Lutchka (Kari) of Chatham and Bradley James Lutchka (Lisa) of Moline; his grandchildren, Eric James Heyen, Alex James Heyen (Jessica), Emy Jane Lutchka, Nicole Elizabeth Lutchka, Jenna Elizabeth Lutchka, Ross Arthur Horn (Jeni) and Raymond Albert Horn; his great grandchild Eleanor Josephine Horn; and his sisters, Dorothy Brooks (Dana), Cynthia O'Neal, Elinor Pacey and Jeanette Rams. He is also survived by three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jim's name to St. Peter Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic Church, Menard County Food Pantry, or an organization of the donor's choice.
