She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John R. Winkelmann and Katherine Evers Winkelmann; her son-in-law Curt Kruse; her grandchildren, Kyla Kruse, Cara Martel (Clif), Trent Kruse and Megan Howard (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Mason and Ben Martel; her husband Herman; her daughter Christine Kruse; her granddaughter Jenna Kruse; and her sister Anna Davidson.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Paralyzed Veterans of America, or the Menard County Rescue Squad.
