It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Genevieve Pillsbury of Petersburg, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Safford and Mabel Safford (Chapell); her husband Earl Lyman Pillsbury; her granddaughter Alexis Gen Pillsbury; and her siblings, Bill Safford and Betty Kernahan.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Throckmorton (Rob), Doug Pillsbury (Teresa) of Petersburg, Howard Pillsbury (Jill) of Chatham, Pam Behrens (Dave) of Naples, Scott Pillsbury (Mindy Summers) of Springfield and Patty Heder (Mike) of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.; her grandchildren, April, Rachel, Krista, Sarah, Abigail, Rebecca, Bryan, Zachary, Spencer, Kelsey, Landon, Meghan, Britanie, Blaine, Corbin, Chandler, Quinten, Mallory and Makenzy; and her sister Kathie McConnell (John) of Long Beach. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
