He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Meyer and Edna Meyer (Vander); and his siblings, Harold Meyer, Hubert Meyer, Henry Meyer, Midge Huddleston, Donald Meyer, Luella Hand, Marcella Meyer, Howard Meyer, Denton Meyer and Shirley Hubbard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wattles; his siblings, John Meyer and Mary Taylor; and his friend Sandra Sharlow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Greenview Christian Church.
